BONDERITE M-CR 1201 AERO (known as ALODINE 1201) is a non-flammable, chromic acid based, coating chemical that will produce a chrome conversion coating on aluminium and its alloys.
BONDERITE M-CR 1201 AERO is approved to MIL-DTL-81706 for brush application only.
BONDERITE M-CR 1201 AERO is used as received for MIL-DTL-5541 work.
Adjustments and titrations are not needed or required.
Used solutions should be discarded.
The coating formed by BONDERITE M-CR 1201 AERO is gold to tan in colour and it becomes a part of the aluminium surface.
This chrome conversion coating offers the best affordable substrate for both paint adhesion and corrosion resistance.
